We always do our best to deliver the experiences shown. However, tropical weather, road or sea conditions, local availability and operational requirements can sometimes mean that an activity, destination or evening event needs to be adjusted at short notice.
Where changes are needed, our team will let you know as soon as possible and will adjust the day’s plans or offer a suitable alternative where possible.

Your ride may take you through swaying coconut plantations, across quiet forest trails, through mangrove-fringed rivers, and finally along a private stretch of beach. Whether you’re a first-timer or experienced rider, the experience is tailored to your comfort and pace.

Whether you’re just starting your diving journey or you’re an experienced explorer seeking your next challenge, Santo’s warm, clear waters deliver unforgettable experiences.
A true highlight is the world-famous SS President Coolidge — a massive World War II troopship resting just offshore. This iconic wreck is renowned for its scale, history, and accessibility, making it a bucket-list dive for enthusiasts worldwide. Descending to over 30 metres, it’s best suited for experienced divers, offering a rare opportunity to explore an entire ship, complete with artefacts frozen in time.

What happens if weather or local conditions change?
Occasionally, weather, sea conditions or local availability may mean an activity or timing needs to change. As these experiences are included as part of your stay rather than purchased separately, there is nothing to refund. Our team will let you know as soon as possible and adjust the day’s plans or offer a suitable alternative where possible.
Do I have to join every guided experience?
Not at all. Every scheduled experience is optional, and you are always welcome to relax at the resort instead. We simply ask that you let us know by the evening before if you will not be joining the following day’s experience, so we can plan transport, guides and catering accordingly.
What if I arrive partway through the week?
No problem. Our guided experiences operate on a weekly cycle, so you will simply join wherever the week is up to when you arrive. Our team will explain which experiences fall within your stay based on your arrival and departure dates.
Can I arrange other activities during my stay?
Yes. We are happy to help arrange a range of optional experiences such as diving, fishing charters, horse riding and more. Let us know what interests you and we will help with the arrangements, subject to availability and the external provider’s conditions.
Are meals included on tour days?
The listed picnic lunches, beachfront lunches, barbecue lunches, morning tea or refreshments are included with the relevant scheduled experience. Your stay also includes breakfast, lunch and a nightly three-course dinner.
Is drinking water included?
Yes. Filtered rainwater is included throughout your stay, both at the resort and on tour days. We also bring a small esky on guided outings with cold drinks available for purchase. These can be added to your account and settled at checkout, so there is no need to carry cash on the day.
What should I bring on the guided experiences?
Swimwear, a hat and comfortable walking shoes are recommended for most days. We suggest bringing reef-safe sunscreen with you, as it can be difficult to find locally. Please avoid applying sunscreen or insect repellent immediately before swimming in the blue holes, to help protect these natural freshwater environments.
Are reef shoes and snorkelling equipment provided?
Yes — at Exclusive Sunrise we keep reef shoes and snorkelling equipment on site for you to use throughout your stay. If you have your own gear that fits you perfectly, you are welcome to bring it instead, but there is no need to pack extra if you would rather travel light.
Do I need to be a confident swimmer to join the water-based experiences?
Not at all — you do not need to be a confident swimmer to join our water-based experiences. Snorkelling equipment is provided, our guides are always close by, and calm, shallow areas are available at each location. You are just as welcome to stay out of the water altogether — relax on the shore, take in the surroundings, read a book, go for a walk, or simply enjoy the atmosphere while others swim.
How physically demanding are the guided experiences?
All of our scheduled experiences are rated Easy and suitable for most fitness levels. Days may include some walking, boat travel or gentle paddling, but nothing strenuous — our pace is relaxed, and you are always welcome to sit out any part of the day.
Do the guided experiences still run in the rain?
Most experiences continue as scheduled through light rain, as Santo’s blue holes, rivers and beaches are just as beautiful in gentle weather. In the case of more significant weather or sea conditions, our team will adjust the day’s plans or offer a suitable alternative, as outlined above.
What time do the guided experiences usually run?
Most guided experiences run mid-morning through early afternoon — giving you time for a slow start or a sleep-in beforehand, and returning by mid-afternoon so you can relax and enjoy the resort for the rest of the day. Select experiences include an evening component. Exact timing can vary slightly depending on the day and conditions, and our team will confirm the details for your stay once you arrive.
